Aurora features Roieezy

According to H1 entertainment's recent poll, he is the second most loved Nigerian/Ukrainian artist. My amazing and highly appreciated readers, please allow me introduce to you, Roieezy!!!

Where are you from and what’s your real name?

My names are Roy Agwaunima Agiang, and I’m from Cross River, Nigeria.

How did you come up with the name Roieezy, care to tell us what it means?

I have a friend named Law, I call him Laweezy and he calls me Royeezy and that was just it. I guess it means we work towards the best in life but do it with “eez”.

How would you describe your music or form of entertainment for the public audience if they have never seen you before?

In a few words, well… My music is that kind of music that you can’t just help but love!!! #TEAMGOODMUSIC

Thinking way back to early childhood, what was your first experience with music like? What song do you remember most as a child?

Bad by Michael Jackson is still the number one jam till date. M.J, Lucky Dube, Koffi Olumide and Ron Kenolly made my childhood music life superb. We had a family choir also, where my mum, elder sister and I used to sing while my dad danced.

That memory is a really priceless one, I love it. We are all Aware of how the music industry has exploded in Nigeria, and how music has matured or has changed over the past few years. How does the music you listen to now, differ from way back then?

It has differed positively and negatively in the sense that the creativity and insight on Nigerian music these days is overwhelming, however, the lyrical artists with a lot of meaningful songs are hardly noticed due to the fact that people only dance to beats that suit their mood and not necessarily to what is being said, which is missing the very point of music to begin with.

What was the first song you ever sang, and how did it make you feel?

Uhmm, 1ST I ever sang? Scratching my head. Well, I don’t really remember, I’d have to ask my mum cos I guess I was pretty little at the time but I’m sure it felt good..

When and where was the first time you performed live? Did it go well?

My 1st performance was in high school and though my girlfriend back then said, in her own words, “Hun you were great!” I knew it wasn’t really all that and I could do a lot better with time, obviously.

This music, is it something you’re taking seriously, or is it just an on-the-side thing?

Well, first of all I’m a medical student in my fourth year. Music comes after that, so yeah maybe I’m taking it a bit serious.

IF you had to describe your music in three or four words, what would you call it?

How do you come up with the lyrics of your songs, I especially like Jaiye and Omoge wa?

Depends on inspiration and the situation of the moment and timing. Jaiye was inspired by Funke Ogukoya (funkie Fwesh) and Omoge Wa by Busola Ayelowo.

Who does your beats?

I, together with a friend, Jake, Feejay Dave, El’ Don, Stas and a couple of others.

Do you have any fan comments of how your song has affected or changed them?

I get a lot of heart-warming comments and encouragements yeah! Changed them? Er not exactly, but Inspired them, definitely.

Do you have a fan club, a Face book page, twitter handle or any other means where your fans can reach you?

When you’re not singing or in the studio, what activities do you engage in to pass time?

Playing basketball, my guitar or chatting with girls.

Someone once said "Write what you would love to perform over and over" with that in mind which of your songs do you love to perform the most.

I’ll say Omoge Wa, because of the ending… Lol “My legs are shaking, one more bottle ka’wo e so ke so’di…”

Tell me about your most embarrassing moment if you care to share?

Well, well, well I farted once in front of a girl I was trying to ask out and her friends. It didn’t stop me though.

If you could perform with anyone in the world either dead alive or retired who would it be and why?

Vector Ysg... He’s ON POINT.

Have you collaborated with any other artists? If so who are they?

So far a couple, Feejay Dave, Bradbury Brothers, Jake, Caesar, Diddy Nova, TC Peruzzi, Noks, Buju Bright, SholaBrizzy, BuzzyGirl, Preachaz Son, Dr Shillz, St. Dizzy and More to come Insha Allah.

What advice would you like to give other upcoming artists?

Putting a smile on the faces of listeners should be your priority and if you work towards proving people wrong about being the loser they think you are, it’s probably because you’re also thinking the same thing about yourself.

Can you give a shout out to Aurora Dandridge, your fans and friends out there in form of a rhyme or lyrics like a song?

Thank you Royeezy for your time, I look forward to more of your music in the New Year. Remember people, in the words of Roieezy, don’t waste unnecessary time proving to people that you’re not a loser, just do your thing to the best of your ability, and let whatever you believe in do the rest.

Nikonian moments of Kingsbridge entertainment.

On the twelfth Of November 2011, KingsBridge Entertainment had their debut party. I will not go into the details since I have featured them in the previous post, you can click HERE to read it once again. Here are some of the pictures that were taken. To get the full album, click HERE

To the guy in the middle, perfect, I love the outfit, the attention to detail was great, you know with the matching blue tie and the jean, however couldn’t you have found something else to do with that hand, it made you look disabled. To the guy on the left, maybe if you had spent more time on yourself, instead of pointing at the guy you would have noticed the not-so attractive purse hanging down from your belt. As for the other guy, I’ll get back to you later.

Where do I start from? Is it the shirt, which is off, or the bow tie? Even if the shirt was cool, the shoes not so much. Red or is it dark pink, and navy blue striped Toms, with striped purple and white shirt, I’m sure if I look further I will see turquoise, magenta, maroon and indigo I don’t just understand, but in the spirit of Christmas, let me just say he can take a really good pose, he only messed up in one picture and it's the photographer’s fault.

Nothing spectacular, not bad either.

Does this guy know whenever the camera is about to take him, second time in a row he's looking quite alright. Love the simple black on black, I think I'd just let the dark shades in a dark hall slide just this once. It's Christmas.

If what they say about pictures saying a thousand words is true, then this is the conversation that went down during this shoot.

Girl in pink (after being dragged to take the picture): These girls will not let Aurora Dandridge embarrass me, let me comport myself and shift.
Girl in leopard print and girl with pink bag: Aurora ko, Ororo ni, ogbeni camera us jare!!
Girl with the red bag: What is dat actress name, Marilyn something, how did she do that pose again, is it like this, abi did she bend? Okay let me bend, anyhow I'm still the sexiest in this picture.

That pink bag reminds me of what I used to hold when going to church, and that was about seven or eight years ago, when I was a practising christian. All their shoes were great, but I liked the blue and black one better.

LMAO, sexy vixen indeed, looking like Alicia Keys on a very very bad hair day, or wait not Alicia Keys, it's too much, Shan George, yeah that's much better, as for the guy sorry oh, but you're no Swiss beats.

Okay now, another picture that speaks a thousand words.

Guy on the left: I am sexy and I know it, take the picture whenever you're ready.
Other guy: What will I do with this my right hand, let me see... Wait, don't take the picture yet, let me position my se.... shit they don take am already.

Pretty girls but too skinny, Janice Dickinson would pick them in a heart beat. The girl in black has a nice shape though, reminds me of one of those Ghanaian actresses.
NB: Only in this particular picture, that's all.

Okay this chick is beginning to irk me. She's just everywhere, taking up space. On another level, I wonder what evil thoughts were going through Noks' head as they took this picture. I'm not saying nothing, but here's a piece of advice from Marlon Wayans, ADVICE.

Is everybody here thinking the same thing I'm thinking. HERE'S WHAT I'M THINKING.  The outfits were cray. They looked like a pair of sexy high class thieves. The girl on the right went all out, with the boots that are reminiscent of Beyonce’s timb's when she was in the phone booth with JayZ in Bonnie and Clyde. In fact I dub these two Bonnie and Claudia. The girl on the left followed my simple philosophy, simple is usually good.

And there she is again, SMH. I love the matured look the guy went for.

I'm suspecting these guys seriously. Matured well looking men. Simple and short is what I will call this picture. I salute.

I don't know why this picture is still on face book. I am taking offence, because if the camera quality was good enough, I could see this picture being one of the best, but now the quality of the camera makes him look like Dracula after a millennium of blood-fasting. He went all out to the last dot, nice and bizarre hair cut too, and the badges were just the icing on the cake.

And again....

I like what the guy in white wore. Not the one at the extreme right, NO! The one in the middle.

I just finished commending you a few pictures up for your nice picture poses, now what is this now? To the guy on the right, you really look cool, and the peace sign wasn't that bad either. Nice shoes too.

One more time...

Nice outfit, for the guy on the right, however I needed to see more attitude, more fierceness, and I would have preferred if you put your hands in your pocket, instead of behind. I know I said simple is good, but I think the guy on the left dressed a little too simply. He still looked good though.

Short of words.

We know you're fine, and your smooth, and yes the jacket is nice, and it goes with the shirt, don't rub it in our faces, this picture was better served as a profile picture though, not party material.

Need I say more on the guy in the middle? The shoe on the guy on the left made him look like a cartoon character or something from Toy Story

Hmm, gossip time: Are they going out?

Sexy touts.

In the rephrased words of Tiwa: It ain't enough that your good looking  so listen. I am sorry, but I could not just let this slide, as per the slogan, with the imaginary pimp cup in your hand, this is so not what perfection looks like. You see the guy in blue, or is it pink or rather purple, okay the guy in striped shirt, nice pose. The next guy nailed the pose, really SUAVE, the next guy was cool too.

I give up!!! She's pretty though!!!!

A lot of guys can learn from the guy in orange, the orange shirt complimented his complexion, and to the guy on the other side, again good pose, but that hand sign, was rude.

Another picture that spoke to me.

The girl in red bag: What's going on between these two, Smile!
The girl in shorts: Dude behave oh, where is your hand going to?
Dude: Shit, I moved too fast.

He is really a cool kid. Matching shirt and trouser and even hair. Nice one!

Same comment. Nice and simple shirt with matching shoes and accessories.

Nice, tiny eyes. Love the pose, and the way the phone complimented the pose. Plus the beautiful background.

The CEO himself at work, thumbs up to this picture and thumbs up to Tobi Okpanuga and Raymond Alelumhe for posting it.

The tall dude on the left and the girl look good together.

From the pictures it is obvious that they really had fun at the party, and that they were really cool judging from the number I uploaded. The organizers could up their game a little bit and get better photographers with quality cameras or select only the best of the best.

Having said all that, I wish you all a Happy Christmas, and to all the party organizers, keep doing what you're doing, it only gets better.

Aurora features Kingsbridge entertainment

You had your debut party on what date? Kindly tell us in a few words what the experience was like, and what those that could not attend missed.

We had our Debut Party on the 12th of November 2011. It was amazing as our expectations were beaten by the turn out and the presence of some big names in Ukraine, yeah it was a great party, the party and its publicity got the attention of a lot of people. The planning and organization were precise as we knew what we were going for (the best). It definitely wasn't easy putting something like that together in Kharkov. And to the people who didn't make it to the party, I feel deeply sorry, because I'm sure they've realized what they missed.

Kindly introduce yourselves to your fans, and to all those who are yet to know you.

We are KINGSBRIDGE ENTERTAINMENT, and our names are Aminu Lateef CEO, Ajibowo Afolabi, Raymond Alelumhe, Shola Julius, Odunlami Balogun, Yusuf Ahmed and Opanuga Tobi. We are based in Kharkov but not just for Kharkov.

How did it all start?

It all started in 2010. We met ourselves and realized we were people of like minds with a love of entertainment, so KINGSBRIDGE ENTERTAINMENT was born.

How did you come up with the name Kingsbridge?

We came up, with Kingsbridge because it has a royal and gallant sound to it. More so we are Serving Kings and Queens in Ukraine and outside.

Really cool, it's good to know that you see your fans as kings and queens. Who's in charge of the planning, I mean do you guys all have specific duties when it comes to the planning of the party. Who's in charge of logo design, fliers, and stuff.

We all have our Specific Duties in Organizing the Party. The CEO supervises Everything, Afolabi Ajibowo relates with the Artists, the DJ and their welfare, Odunlami Balogun does the Production works, Tobi and Raymond are in charge of the Posters and Flyers, Shola Julius (Hymi) is the first artist Under the Record Label. For the role of public relations and promotion, we all do that.

I can see a lot of organization goes into the handling of Kingsbridge affairs, impressive. How do you promote your parties?

We promote Our Parties through, Social Networks, like Face book, Twitter, black Berry messenger and individual advertisements.

IF you could redo your debut night party, what things would you change and what new things would you add.

Smile!!!! We won't have changed anything, really. The only downside was that a lot of people that would have made it had exams that day.

Was there any misbehaviour at the party, if so how was it handled?

There was a little mishap with the security and one of the party attendees at the end of the Party, but we thank God, no one was hurt.

Who's in charge of the photography, and who selects the pictures that get posted on your profile?

Kingsbridge Visions, and Magnifiko Design were in charge of the Photography, Tobi Opanuga and Raymond Alelumhe were in charge of selecting the pictures that were published.

When you guys decided the club to use for the party, what factors did you consider?

We considered the general outlook of the club, its accessibility, security, affordability, and quality service among many other things.

Do you guys have a face-book page, a group, or twitter handle where your fans can interact with you.

Yeah, on Face book, Kingsbridge Entertainment.

As a party planner, what do you consider to be the ultimate satisfaction from your parties, and was it achieved on your debut night?

Yeah, we think the main purposes of parties are to have fun and to cool off. And in our opinion we achieved just that.

Were you guys under pressure as the date of your party approached, did you have second thoughts, and how did you guys overcome the doubts.

I think it's just normal for us to be under pressure. Even though all arrangements were already made, there was always a possibility that something could go wrong. So we were a bit nervous, and for good reason, but as you can see and as have heard, we came through.

Seeing as there are so many Nigerian entertainment groups in Ukraine, what new things do you guys hope to bring that will set you apart from the others.

We are planning to introduce some Hollywood Touches to Our Events.
Hollywood Touches?

Yeah, Hollywood touches as in concepts that are Hollywood worthy.

Any shout outs, advice and stuff you would like to share?
Our Shout out Goes to all Our Fans, all the people that made it to the party, all the ones that wanted to come but could not make it and most importantly to the Entertainment Groups that supported us, we appreciate you all.

Watch out for Our Upcoming Event in April or May 2012 ... Looking forward to bringing everyone together in a City in Ukraine.
Thank you
